ALL CHRISTMAS MARKETS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
The Halloween is over and its time to get ready for Christmas. Every November London gets transformed for a festive period, Xmas carols, lights, great food, mulled wine, ice skating and of course festive markets. London’s Christmas markets are one of the bests in Europe. There quite a few of them, but we have created the list with TOP 3 markets that can’t be missed if you are planning to visit during this period.
1. Winter Wonderland (Hyde Park)
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is one of my favourite events to visit during the Xmas period. Winter Wonderland has absolutely everything for a Christmas fun time with family or friends. Rollercoasters, fairground rides, Santa’s Grotto, UK’s biggest open-air ice rink, Christmas market, food, mulled wine, Giant Observation Wheel and even the Bavarian Village. You will have an unforgettable time here. The entrance is absolutely FREE.

Winter Wonderland will open on the 21 November 2019 at 4pm and then open every day from 10am to 10pm until the 5th of January 2020.
I would highly recommend visiting this event but keep in mind it gets extremely busy over weekends.
2. Leicester Square Christmas Market

You probably know Leicester square for its theatres, cinemas, glamorous red carpet events and movie premiers. But every year Leicester Square gets a full festive makeover with a beautiful Christmas market right in the centre of it. It is not as big as Winter Wonderland but also worth visiting. The marked is selling a great range of hand-crafted gifts, food, and drinks. The atmosphere overall is just magical. It is also very close to Covent Garden which is great for a dining experience and has one of the most beautiful Christmas trees in the city.
3. Southbank Centre Winter Market
Southbank Centre Winter Market locates

If you decided to visit, I suggest arriving at the Embankment tube station which just across the river Thames and right beside the Golden Jubilee Bridges. You can walk on the bridge to cross the river and on the way, you’ll get an amazing view of London, London Eye and Big Ben.
